Abū Bakr al-Baghdadi was the Iraqi-born leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. He was reported as killed recently in a US led attack. Baghdadi if I am not wrong was reported killed several times but he always somehow managed to come out alive of all attacks on his life. This time it appears he is really dead, President Trump announced it.
Now I really have no idea if he is dead, I doubt his body will be recovered so there will be no definite proof or there could be, that is besides the point what I really want to talk about is how convenient these sort of killings are for governments that are in trouble.
Without going to far back let's start with Che Guevara he was actually murdered by US agents in 1967, Johnson was in deep shit because of Vietnam a distraction was needed and here was a great one a US charged terrorist killed by brave US forces, never mind the fact that he was actually already a prisoner when he was killed, again keep this in mind a distraction was needed. I remember this I was already 6 years old and my Dad always bought Time and Newsweek, this murder was great news and put Johnson in a different rather better light.
Then we have the cases of Gaddafi and Osama bin Laden again a US Government in trouble and miraculously two evil people where also killed thanks to the bravery of US troops (at least in Bin Laden's case, Ghaddafi was just a murder helped by the US), but even the official account of Bin Laden's death is bizarre, why wasn't he captured, he should have shed light on a lot of things that I bet would have saved a lot of lives. Of course we are not even sure if he was actually killed.
Oh yeah also the Hussein's in Iraq, Saddam and his son's amazingly caught or killed when things were going rough with the public, somehow like the Bin Laden tapes always showing up when there were a lot of doubts.
And now we have Baghdadi, Trump is up shit creek, and now he has what is an international hit he has been able to have his troops destroy the head of the world's worst terrorist organization, except for the fact that ISIS has been reduced to nearly nothing in the last couple of years.
I think the killing of people like these are just facades to get people's mind off of the real things they should be looking at, because the fact that you kill one man means shit someone else just takes over his place, look at El Chapo, he is in prison and yet the same amounts of drugs are still flowing to the US.
I am not a complete fan of conspiracy theories but I do believe these type of events are just plain attempts to hoodwink people.
