This time, I’ve bought something new—just one item, but a very useful one: a small pot, perfect for cooking ramen or boiling water.
A ramen pot made of stainless steel with a wooden handle. They come in several sizes, but I chose the one with a 14 cm diameter. It turns out to be quite small—perfect for cooking a single pack of Indonesian-style instant noodles (since ramen or ramyeon typically come in larger portions than Indonesian instant noodles).
And this is also suitable for cooking or heating water—perhaps around a large cupful.
And as usual, I bought this pot from an online shop; the shipping was excellent—they used a box and wrapped the pot in a fairly thick layer of bubble wrap, making it very secure.
Before using it, I naturally washed this pot very thoroughly, because otherwise, there would be an unpleasant smell.
And after that, I immediately started cooking using this pot. First, I boiled some water to make coffee—though this time, I just went with instant coffee, since it’s quicker and easier.
Then I also cooked some instant noodles—Soto Betawi-flavored instant noodles—and added a boiled egg; it looks delicious.
And I decided to eat the noodles right out of the pot instead of transferring them to a bowl—it felt just like a scene from a K-drama, haha.
Coffee and noodles are ready to eat, then I’ll fire up Netflix to watch some anime—a lovely day.
