How can it take you 6 years to reach 70 reputation in Hive? [SPA - ENG]
Desde que Hive es Hive, avanzar en reputación es mucho más fácil que en su hermana mayor Steem. ¿La razón? No la sé y no me he preocupado en averiguarlo.
Cuando migro de Steemit a Hive estaba en 62 de reputación. Muchos contemporáneos conmigo rondaban esa cifra, tal vez un poco más arriba o más abajo. Hoy muchos de ellos están por encima de 75. Peor aún, muchos recién unidos a Hive hoy están en más de 75 o llegando allí. Su HP ha crecido exponencialmente y siguen avanzando.
Entonces ¿por qué yo me estanqué? ¿Qué hizo que tardara tanto (5 años y 10 meses) en llegar 70 de reputación? ¿Me vetaron? ¿Me incluyeron en una lista negra? ¿Me dieron mucho odio con lluvia de downvotes? Sigue leyendo para conocer esta triste historia y sobre todo, para que no te pase lo mismo
No soy de excusarme, más bien a veces peco de reflexivo y prefiero reconocer mis errores antes de buscar culpables de mis desgracias. No siempre fui así, antes era experto en responsabilizar a los demás de mis calamidades. Pero fui aprendiendo a no ser tan inmaduro e infantil.
Con todo, la siguiente lista puede parecer más una secuencia de excusas, que de factores neutrales. Lo cierto es que pretende dar luz de lo que pudo influir para que me tardara tanto en llegar a 70 de reputación y que mi HP hoy sea uno de los más bajos de la cadena a pesar de tener tanto tiempo en ella (aunque lo del bajo HP es otra historia y no la leerás en este post).
Sin orden de importancia aquí la lista de causas que te pueden hacer tardar llegar a reputación 70 en la blockchain Hive.
- Intermitencia: no he tenido la constancia necesaria para mantenerme activo y así conseguir el apoyo persistente de cuentas o proyectos grandes. Me iba por semanas y regresaba, no soy de publicar todos los días, ni siquiera interdiario. Así que no recibía votos tan seguido y eso influye en tu desempeño. Un comentario del gran

- Mordacidad y sarcasmo. Casi desde el inicio he sido muy franco en mis opiniones sobre eventos, hechos o aspectos de Hive con los que he estado en desacuerdo. Eso me ha llevado a perder apoyos importantes de ballenas y comunidades, haciendo más lento mi ascenso. No entré a una lista negra propiamente dicha, pero sí me gané cierta fama de polémico, ¿problemático? y ácido que no era bien vista por algunos líderes y sus clubs de fans. ¿Ven? ¡Justamente a esto me refiero!
- Cuenta alterna. Con la intención de dividir mi contenido personal del profesional, decido crear otra cuenta en la que publicar temas de oratoria, locución, depresión (mi columna "En Modo AntiDepresión" en @Holos-Lotus (suscríbete a esta gran comunidad), entre otros temas propios de mi marca personal. Esa cuenta (gsbilbao), naturalmente recibió votos, que si los hubiese recibido en esta cuenta (garybilbao), tal vez habrían permitido que llegara más rápido al tan ansiado número 70.

- Falta de aprecio suficiente. Sin hacernos los inocentes hay que admitir que el tío Appreciator es un factor vital para el crecimiento acelerado de muchas cuentas en Hive por más nueva o antigua que sea. Algunos corren con esa bendición de ser lo suficientemente apreciado por este súper curador de Hive. Yo no he corrido con esa suerte. De hecho, sin exagerar, puedo contar con los dedos de mis manos las veces que me ha votado en estos casi 4 años, y me quedan algunos en la banca.
Para no hacer más largo este post, lo dejaré hasta aquí. Puede que hayan otras razones, pero creo que he dado las más importantes e influyentes. Por lo pronto, lo dejo hasta aquí. En otras publicaciones tal vez me anime a seguir reflexionado sobre el tema.

Since Hive is Hive, advancing in reputation is much easier than in its big sister Steem. The reason? I don't know and I haven't bothered to find out.
When I migrated from Steemit to Hive I was at 62 reputation. Many contemporaries with me hovered around that figure, maybe a little above or below. Today many of them are above 75. Worse, many newly joined Hive today are over 75 or getting there. Their HP has grown exponentially and they continue to advance.
So why did I stagnate? What took me so long (5 years and 10 months) to get to 70 reputation? Did I get banned? Did I get blacklisted? Did I get a lot of hate with downvotes? Read on to know this sad story and above all, so that the same thing doesn't happen to you.
I'm not one to make excuses, rather I sometimes err on the side of reflexivity and prefer to acknowledge my mistakes before looking for someone to blame for my misfortunes. I was not always like this, I used to be an expert in blaming others for my calamities. But I learned not to be so immature and childish.
All in all, the following list may seem more a sequence of excuses than of neutral factors. The truth is that it aims to shed light on what could have influenced me to take so long to reach 70 reputation and that my HP today is one of the lowest in the chain despite having so much time in it (although the low HP is another story and you will not read it in this post).
In no order of importance here is the list of causes that can make you take time to reach reputation 70 on the Hive blockchain.
- Intermittency: I have not had the consistency needed to stay active to get persistent support from large accounts or projects. I would go away for weeks and come back, I'm not one to post every day, or even interdaily. So I didn't get votes as often and that influences your performance. A comment from the great
Mordacity and sarcasm. Almost from the beginning I have been very outspoken in my opinions about events, facts or aspects of Hive with which I have disagreed. That has led me to lose important whale and community supporters, slowing my rise. I didn't get blacklisted per se, but I did earn a certain reputation as controversial, problematic? and acidic that was not well regarded by some leaders and their fan clubs. - Lack of appreciation enough. Without pretending to be innocent, we must admit that Uncle Appreciator is a vital factor for the accelerated growth of many Hive accounts, no matter how new or old they may be. Some are blessed to be sufficiently appreciated by this Hive super curator. I have not been so lucky. In fact, without exaggeration, I can count on the fingers of my hands the number of times he has voted for me in these almost 4 years, and I have a few left on the bench.
