Hola mis Hivers, reciban mis saludos y cariño de siempre. Por estos días hemos estado muy abrigados, pues las lluvias nos sorprenden a diario y eso aumenta nuestras ganas de quedarnos en casa arropados, casi sin deseos de no hacer nada. Sin embargo, en momentos como estos aprovechamos algunos para hacer cosas que nos gustan. Por ejemplo ver alguna serie de televisión, comer, hacerles un cariños a las plantas, ese fue mi caso de hoy. Luego de desayunar fui a casa de una vecina para hacerle el favor de inyectarse un complejo B, luego de regresar a casa lo más pronto que pude hicimos en familia una actividad que siempre nos enriquece en lo espiritual.

Hello my Hivers, receive my usual greetings and love. These days we have been very warm, because the rains surprise us daily and that increases our desire to stay at home tucked up, almost without desire to do nothing. However, at times like these, some of us take the opportunity to do things we like to do. For example, watching a TV series, eating, making some love to the plants, that was my case today. After breakfast I went to a neighbor's house to do her the favor of injecting a B complex, after returning home as soon as I could we did as a family an activity that always enriches us spiritually.

Ya tenía en mente lo del almuerzo, una ensalada de lechuga con tomates y zanahoria rallada, acompañada de pescado frito y unos bollitos de harina que solemos comer de vez en cuando con mantequilla. Fue lamentable no tomar la foto de costumbre, mi esposo me comentó en la mesa que el plato se veía muy colorido. Debí hacer la toma, pero se me pasó por alto. También lo acompañamos con un jugo de tamarindo japonés, esto sabe a parchita o Jobito, según la intensidad del jugo. En fin, quiero decirles con todo esto, que mi almuerzo estuvo muy rico.

I already had lunch in mind, a salad of lettuce with tomatoes and grated carrots, accompanied by fried fish and some flour rolls that we usually eat from time to time with butter. It was unfortunate not to take the usual photo, my husband commented to me at the table that the dish looked very colorful. I should have taken the shot, but it slipped my mind. We also accompanied it with a Japanese tamarind juice, this tastes like parchita or Jobito, depending on the intensity of the juice. Anyway, I want to tell you with all this, that my lunch was very tasty.

Ahorita mientras escribo mi rutina del día, son las 3 de la tarde en mi bella Venezuela, pero no deja de llover, por lo que aún sigo con mis medias para el frío y mi pijama que me cubre mis piernas, mientras mi esposo ve una película recomendada por nuestro amado hijo Jonathan, titulada misión submarina, la cual no estoy viendo, porque preferí escribir para mi blog.

Now while I am writing my routine of the day, it is 3 o'clock in the afternoon in my beautiful Venezuela, but it is still raining, so I am still wearing my cold socks and my pajamas that cover my legs, while my husband watches a movie recommended by our beloved son Jonathan, titled submarine mission, which I am not watching, because I preferred to write for my blog.

Como les vengo comentando hoy deje un espacio para fabricar unos maceteros con botellas de refresco, esto porque ayer recibí por parte de una chica, estás plantas y quería trasplantar algunas de ellas. No tenía idea que les hablaría de esto, por eso solo dejaré con ustedes el resultado final de lo que hice.

As I have been telling you today I left a space to make some planters with soda bottles, this because yesterday I received from a girl, these plants and I wanted to transplant some of them. I had no idea that I would talk about this, so I'll just leave with you the final result of what I did.

La verdad es muy fácil, solo debemos tomar unos envases de refrescos, en este caso de 2 litro, picamos por el medio con una tijera. Con un yesquero quemamos los bordes para que no queden filosos y evitar cortarnos las manos al manipularlo. Perfore con un alambre grueso previamente caliente, la tapa del refresco con el fin de que pudiera tener drenaje el agua que utilizamos para regarla, por eso quise hacerlos con la base para el residuo. Coloqué unas tiras de retazos de tela para darle un toque femenino y coloqué mis plantas de corona de cristo de flores pequeñas, una de color roja y la otra amarillas, que no tenía en mi colección, así quedaron.

En vista de la intensa lluvia me tocó suspender un compromiso que tenía pautado en compañía de mi hermana Elida, en ocasiones me acompaña mi hija Jeraldine. Visitamos a eso de las 4 pm. a una señora mayor que ya por su edad y cataratas en los ojos no puede leer, semanalmente hacemos un espacio para ella de una hora para leerle y compartir con ella algunas enseñanzas. No saben lo gratificante que es poder ayudar a esta señora que la vemos como una abuela, que en momentos se llegan a sentir tan solas y con poca atención. El caso de la señora Brunilda es bastante particular, pues ella siempre tiene una sonrisa, es una señora muy positiva y con excelente retentiva. Ella no lo sabe, pero nosotras también aprendemos mucho de ella, pues no da un excelente ejemplo a su edad, de lo que es llevar una vida con calma y con una visión positiva.

Due to the heavy rain I had to cancel an appointment I had scheduled with my sister Elida, sometimes my daughter Jeraldine accompanies me. We visit at about 4 p.m. an elderly lady who due to her age and cataracts in her eyes can no longer read, weekly we make a space for her for an hour to read to her and share with her some teachings. You don't know how gratifying it is to be able to help this lady who we see as a grandmother, who at times feels so lonely and with little attention. The case of Mrs. Brunilda is quite particular, because she always has a smile, she is a very positive lady and with excellent retentive. She does not know it, but we also learn a lot from her, because she sets an excellent example at her age, of what it means to lead a calm life with a positive outlook.

Ya luego de terminar mi escrito me daré una ducha de agua tibia, pues por mi enfermedad no tolero el agua fría, mucho menos si el clima está tan frío como hoy. Mi esposo me hizo la sugerencia de preparar un chocolate caliente, afortunadamente tengo los ingredientes en casa. Siempre es un placer compartir de todo un poco con ustedes, que se han convertido en una familia para cada uno de nosotros. Espero en Dios que este nuevo año sea productivo y esté lleno de proyectos importantes que los ayuden a crecer como personas y alcanzar algunas metas deseadas. Un abrazo fuerte para ustedes, cuídense mucho y los que están enfermos espero se recuperen, los que andan de vacaciones que logren disfrutar cada instante al lado de su bella familia, y los que estamos haciendo de todo un poco podamos lograr con éxito los objetivos.

After finishing my writing I will take a warm shower, because due to my illness I cannot tolerate cold water, much less if the weather is as cold as it is today. My husband suggested me to prepare a hot chocolate, fortunately I have the ingredients at home. It is always a pleasure to share a little bit of everything with you, you have become a family for each one of us. I hope to God that this new year will be productive and full of important projects that will help you grow as people and achieve some desired goals.
