Hello!
Today I am back with a garden update. The temperatures are dropping for Autumn so I have been refreshing the beds, weeding and planting new seeds. I am not done planting by any means, this is just an initial look into what I have on the go at the moment!
As I mentioned in a previous post I was excited to grow some leafy greens again - I tried and failed to grow some spinach and carrots before the summer heatwave, so those were first on my list. I have these lovely perpetual spinach seedlings popping up and a few rows of rainbow carrots appearing too.
Newcomers this year include radishes, parsnips (not germinated yet!), purple sprouting broccoli and two varieties of peas: golden and purple! I've only grown petit pois in the past, so I can't wait to see these beautifully colourful ones.
That's all for now! Going forward I will be planting some salad veggies, herbs and more brassicas.
Let me know if you like these sorts of posts and I will make them a more regular thing - it's good to keep things interesting!
