A few days ago we ate a little from a delicious spinach plant and then we left — or rather threw — the stems on the ground and forgot about them for a few days. What a great surprise it was when, days later, the plant had emerged from the depths of the earth, giving us the opportunity to enjoy much more spinach again, thanks to our beloved Mother Nature.
