On the 1st of every month, Hive Gardens get together and share their gardens. This month we have a new category, judged by @owasco - scroll down to see what it is! Don't forget to read the rules carefully, and remember this challenge does NOT come with a timer - it ends exactly seven days after it is posted, every month! You might be lucky to slide in late, but that's up to the discretion of the curator!
If your garden is under snow, water, or snails, it doesn't matter. You can still join in by:
and countless other ways to support the Hive Garden by writing great content!
Awarded to someone who is clearly passionate about whatever style of gardening they choose. You could be posting about flowers or cactus, bonsai or vegetables - but your enthusiasm shines through the content you create and your engagement with community.
Just a well presented garden post - fab formatting, beautiful photos, thoughtful post - the kind of post that makes us want to go and tidy our garden!
...And the new category is...
This prize was concieved by @owasco who believes that food security starts in our backgardens. What do you do to be independent from supermarkets and big growers? What do you grow 'just in case' we have a food shortage, or even a medicine shortage? What do you grow that keeps you out of the supermarkets? And if you haven't got this far yet - what do you TRY to do, or what dreams do you have of 'preparing' for self sufficiency?
We support gardening, homesteading, cannabis growers, permaculture and other garden related content. Delegations to the curation account, @gardenhive, are welcome!*
