When will the webby thread
Of luck find the eyes
Of the needle of wealth?
When will free bottles of beer
Go round for everyone in the club
To celebrate the gambler's fortune?
The odds are high
As well as the stakes
The tickets are long
As well as the night
But, sorry, only heartbreaks
Await the gambler, for
His day may never come.
