As my entry for the #monomad challenge I want to share some wood bee macro pictures for all of you hope you like it.

Wood bee is known for its expertise in making nests. They have sharp teeth for scraping dead wood or dead bamboo to make nests.

Wood bees have a fairly large size and are filled with dense fine hairs. Usually wood bees will issue a poisonous injection when they feel threatened, they have tools like a syringe that is located in the buttocks.

I managed to photograph one of the wood bees perched on one of the wooden branches. He seemed so calm when I was doing the photoshoot and it made it easier for me to take pictures of him from various directions.

Here are some pictures of wood bees in black and white visuals hope you all like them.
