I have been trying to play Splinterlands more often than usual as I have been watching how Dark Energy Crystals have been increasing in price due to demand. In the past, I had been playing once a day to complete my Daily Quests in order to get my share of Reward cards every day. The game continues to expand the way and ability we can earn more resources just by playing so it is best to leverage them as much as possible.
So I got to playing and instead of just using one Splinter, I started to mix them up depending on rulesets and quickly saw how different the experience was. Instead of being disappointed in losing most games, I started to mount a win streak which made it fun. I was able to move into a higher Silver Division at the same time which was great as it never has been that easy to do.
Doing this made me realize that the benefits of getting streaks helped me increase my division and the amount of DEC I was earning! Win streaks increase the amount of DEC we get as well! Again, for being a players with only time invested here, I think it is a great way to engage players. I have also noticed more players and matchmaking has become remarkably easier and quick!
