I believe it's important to apply certain personal traits and concepts of behaviour to one's life that assists one to operate at their best or at the worst to move closer to it. We all only have one life and to me it makes good sense to do things that help it be the best possible version.
There's not just one element but many that come into play in the pursuit of continual improvement and a better life and if the right ones are applied a person can find their way forward towards their goals, growth and development in better ways. It's not easy - something that seemingly confounds a society consistently looking for easy options - but for those who embark upon the journey, and put their heart and soul into it, there's big rewards on offer.
I've always found that it's best to determine which are the most important to me and which are going to achieve the (potentially) best results and then stack them together to be applied simultaneously in various areas of life, professional and personal, and to evaluate along the way making changes where required...then repeating it. The "stacking" process allows each element to support and augment the other and the effectiveness compounds.
I've applied ownership, discipline, responsibility, and effort to my life and those four elements (together with many others) others have helped me design, create and shape my life the way I've wanted it to be.
Sure I haven't always succeeded as intended, and it's often been very difficult, but even through the failures that occurred I've found better ways forward, made the changes required and gone again.
I wonder what personal traits, thoughts and behavioural elements you feel are most important to your journey and which you have stacked together for the best results. Feel free to comment below, I'd like to hear.
