Loads of people talk and write about their personal reflections in respect of the events and experiences that occur around them; their own thoughts, experiences and behaviours also. I see such posts here in this community and certainly in real life it's something I hear people say and discuss often. But I'm not entirely sure many actually carry through with what their reflections indicate they perhaps should.
Here's the thing... I believe so many people never act on their reflections and subsequent gleenings; it's often just some convenient thought and feeling they have in the moment and when it's time to put the wheels in motion and create some real change they stall.
Yep, change, growth and development can be difficult and it's much easier to stay in whatever reality brings the most comfort. It makes me wonder about why a person would bother to self-reflect at all.
What decisions and paths forward have been created by your own reflections and have you actually taken them on board and initiated change? Have you looked at what's required after a personal reflection and decided it's all too difficult to move forward at all and if so why did you not take ownership? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing but expecting different results and I get the impression many do exactly that, but what about you?
