Have to got any idea how much noise three people can make whilst doing crafts? I do. A lot! I'm actually surprised any crafts are getting accomplished at all although somehow they're producing some...And I think they're solving the world's troubles at the same time considering the amount and volume of discussion.
I'm here at my mother in-laws with my wife Faith and our friend April, [name changed] for craft night. To be clear, I'm not doing any craft, they are. I'm actually sitting on the couch watching Formula One qualifying from Sochi, RU.
We came over for dinner tonight and, surprisingly with three women in the house, they let me choose - I picked Indian food as there's a great spot nearby. We shared several dishes including beef vindaloo, chicken tikka, vegetable masala, rice and naan bread. I was left to clear up when we finished as they hit the craft table to do whatever crafty stuff they are doing.
So, I'm trying to listen to the commentary on the TV but am struggling with the G20 G3 summit going on around the craft table. In between all the discussions they're making gift cards, the ones I featured in a previous post, and some diamond art which, to the best of my knowledge involves no actual diamonds at all.
Of course I'm only kidding around; I like that the girls are hanging out having fun, laughing and relaxing. It's good for my mother in-law considering she's coming off the back of a near-death cancer scare. It's good to hear them fucking around despite it making it hard to hear the TV. I just got asked if I want a coffee which I said yes to...It'll come with some snacks too so why wouldn't I?
Anyway, qualifying is about to start so I better concentrate...I'll not be able to hear the commentary so will need my powers of mind-reading to know what's going on.
