Winter has come to us practically according to its calendar schedule. Only a few hours late. Even the day before yesterday there was no sign of winter weather. And that was the last day of autumn.
The grass is green and there is a lot of sun. Only there was a strong gusty wind. He tried to meet winter. In hindsight, everything is always clear.
The birds also looked forward to the snowy weather. Got together as a friendly big family and quickly looked for food in the grass. I have never seen such a large gathering of rooks in one place before.
And the first day of winter did not at first foreshadow a change in the weather. But during the day everything changed. The sun disappeared behind the clouds, and light snow began to fall. In November, it also sometimes fell out, but before reaching the ground, it melted. And so he lay down on the ground. After all, winter has already come into its own.
I had already returned from a walk when it started snowing. I was already taking pictures from the windows.
It seems that there is fog outside. In fact, it is snowing.
The snow is falling harder and harder.
By evening the snow had stopped and today the still green grass looked slightly dusted.
And again there is a lot of sun and already a light frost. Winter has come.
In the morning I had the impression that the whole day would be sunny. The clear sky did not bode well for snow. And weather forecasts are often wrong.
And again, as on schedule, snow began to fall immediately after lunch. There was even a slight snowstorm. Not every year winter comes to us strictly on schedule.
The water in the river is not frozen yet. And the contented ducks swam merrily. They didn’t know yet that it would snow again in a few hours.
And so the view from the windows changed over the course of a day. So winter also came to us, as it should be, in early December.
The birds make their last attempts to find food among the foliage.
Soon it will not be so easy for the birds to find food in the snow. But good people live in our city and they often feed the birds in winter.
