The price of the our digital currency BTC( bitcoin) ticked higher on Thursday, but gains were held in check in rangebound trade.
On the U.S.-based Bitfinex exchange, Bitcoin touched a highest of $4,216.2 and was at $4,160.9 by 08:21 AM ET (12:21 GMT) which was opened at $4,135.0.
Since setting its most recent all-time high of $4,489.1 on Aug.17, prices have pulled back and at current prices bitcoin has a market cap of about $69 billion.
