Many bad experiences with my nails.

Hello again! I hope you are all well, today I come to tell you that after 2 months and 1 week I had my nails done and the bad experiences I have had.

Hola de nuevo! Espero que estén todos bien, hoy les vengo a contar que después de 2 meses y 1 semana me hice las uñas de las manos y las malas experiencias que he tenido.

The first time I had my nails done was for my XV years, I don't have pictures because I didn't have a phone at the time, I remember I asked for a design with flowers and they were Jelly tips, I was very happy because I had always wanted to have long nails and no matter how much I took care of them, no matter how much I used special polishes, about 6 months later I wanted to put them on again and I went to a girl who lives near my house and I was disappointed with the way the design turned out because she didn't know how to blur and I had just asked her for something like that. I went again for maintenance thinking that if I chose a different design it would be better, and obviously the result was just as disappointing, more when I took them off and my nails were super weak and all broken.

This is how the maintenance was left, I removed the Jelly tips to work with my natural nails, they were very badly damaged.

La primera vez que me hice las uñas fué para mis XV años, no tengo fotos ya que no tenía teléfono cuando eso, recuerdo que pedí un diseño con flores y fueron Jelly tips, estaba muy feliz ya que siempre habia querido tener mis uñas largas y por más que me las cuidara, por más que usara esmaltes especiales, usara ajo o ácido fólico siempre estaban débiles y se me partían, unos 6 meses después quise volver a ponérmelas y fuí con una chica que vive cerca de mi casa y quedé decepcionada de como quedó el diseño ya que no sabía difuminar y justamente le había pedido algo así ¿Lo peor? Fuí de nuevo para el mantenimiento pensando que si escogía un diseño diferente sería mejor, y obviamente el resultado fue igual de decepcionante, más cuando me las quité y mis uñas quedaron super débiles y todas rotas.

After that I went to a cousin to have them done since I was starting to work with my nails and they were even worse, so much so that she had to do them twice since she recognized that they were very bad, but the second time they were still ugly, that was on August 3rd of the previous year, I remember it because the next day was my aunt's birthday, I only took a picture of the first attempt.

Luego de eso fui con una prima para que me las hiciera ya que estaba empezando a trabajar con las uñas y quedaron aún peor, tanto así que me las tuvo que hacer 2 veces ya que reconoció que les quedaron muy mal, pero igual en la segunda vez quedaron feas, eso fue el 3 de agosto del año anterior, lo recuerdo porque al día siguiente fué el cumpleaños de mi tía, solo le tomé foto al primer intento.

Then in December I went to a well known Spa here in Margarita Island to have Jelly tips done and they were not ugly but they did not meet my expectations and I just got the idea that maybe my tastes were very difficult and that's why I was not satisfied, I got my ideas from the Pinterest application. I didn't take pictures of them, but I leave a photo in which you can see a little bit.

Después en diciembre fuí a un Spa muy reconocido aquí en la Isla de Margarita para hacerme Jelly tips y no quedaron feas pero no cumplieron mis expectativas y solo me generé la idea de que a lo mejor mis gustos eran muy difíciles y por eso no quedaba conforme, yo sacaba mis ideas de la aplicación Pinterest. No les tomé fotos, pero dejo una foto en las que se pueden ver un poco.

Months later what I did was to take care of them myself because those times I felt that they were mistreated more so to at least have them a little long I asked a cousin to paint them with semi-permanent paint to make them a little harder and so I kept them until it was going to be the day of my high school graduation and I started looking on Instagram for someone who could do them and especially to see their work to know if they were going to be beautiful, In the search I found a girl who makes them for another cousin and I liked her work so I talked to her, by that time she had them a little long so we agreed to meet and it was the best decision I could have made.

Meses después lo que hacía era cuidarlas yo misma ya que esas veces que me las hacían sentía que me las maltrataban más así que para por lo menos tenerlas un poquito largas le pedía a una prima que me las pintara con pintura semipermanente para que estén un poquito más duras y así las mantuve hasta que iba a ser el día de mi graduación de bachillerato y me puse a buscar en Instagram a alguien que me las pudiera hacer y sobretodo ver sus trabajos para saber si me iban a quedar bonitas, en la búsqueda di con una chica que se las hace a otra prima y me gustó su trabajo así que hablé con ella, para ese tiempo las tenía algo largas así que acordamos vernos y fué la mejor decisión que pude haber tomado.

I asked her for a similar design taken from Pinterest and I was happy with the result m, even my aunt was excited because she knew everything that had happened to my nails, I had them 2 months and 1 week and they had not bent or anything, I must clarify that she worked with polygel on my natural nail, they were the length I had so that made me happier because the polygel reinforced my natural nail and it grew normally, after that time I went to see her again and again I loved the result because the reality exceeded the expectation.

Le pedí un diseño igual sacado de Pinterest y quedé feliz con el resultado m, hasta mi tía se emocionó ya que sabía todo lo que habían pasado mis uñas, las uñas las tuve 2 meses y 1 semana y no se me habían doblado ni nada, debo aclarar que ella trabajó con poligel sobre mi uña natural, quedaron del largo que tenía así que eso me puso más contenta ya que el poligel me reforzó la uña natural y crecía normal, después de ese tiempo fuí a verla otra vez y nuevamente me encantó el resultado porque la realidad supera la espectativa.

I didn't want to take too many pictures of the process because I didn't want to interrupt her work and because when she was filing or painting in one hand, the other hand was on the lamp and so she did me the favor of taking some and I took others.

No quise tomar muchas fotos del proceso debido a que no quería interrumpir su trabajo y porque cuando ella estaba limando o pintando en una mano, la otra la tenía en la lámpara y así, igual ella me hizo el favor de tomarme unas y yo tomé otras.

It may seem something very banal about the nails, but it's like having cravings all the time for a soup and every time you eat one, the vegetable was cooked wrong, the protein was hard, the broth was not very good and so on until you get to a place where you finally enjoy it completely, they make it just as you wanted and you are satisfied, you know you are not going to leave that place after that and you are very grateful.

Puede parecer algo muy banal lo de las uñas, pero es como tener antojos todo el tiempo de una sopa y cada vez que te comes una, la verdura se cocinó mal, la proteína quedó dura, el caldo no estaba muy bueno y así todo el tiempo hasta que consigues un lugar en donde la disfrutas completamente por fin, la hacen tal y como querías y quedas satisfecho, sabes que no vas a soltar ese lugar luego de eso y quedas muy agradecido.
