Greetings friends. It's been a while since I last shared on my blog a figurine from my Dragon Ball collection.
It is a collection that I like a lot but because of the complexity of the characters it takes me a while to make them, plus I have few free hours in the day.
Well, today I would like to show you a new character for my collection, one of the favorites of all the fans and the best friend of the main character, Krillin.
Well, I would like to share with the community the creative process of this figurine I made.

Saludos amigos. Hace un buen tiempo que no compartía en mi blog una figurita de mi colección de Dragón Ball.
Es una colección que me gusta mucho pero por la complejidad de los personajes tardo un poco en hacerlos, además de que tengo pocas horas libres en el día.
Pues bien, hoy me gustaría mostrarles un nuevo personaje para mí colección, uno de los favoritos de todos los fans y el mejor amigo del personaje principal, Krilin.
Pues bien, me gustaría compartir con la comunidad el proceso creativo de esta figurita que hice.
Step by step
The materials I used for this figurine were the following: plasticine, wire, wooden sticks and glue.
Paso a paso
Los materiales que utilicé para esta figurita fueron los siguientes: plastilina, alambre, palillos de madera y pegamento.
I started with the feet, it is the most important thing for this kind of figurines.
The character's shoes are made of fabric, so they are triangular and elongated like any other shoe.
I used an L-shaped wire to serve as a support not only for the foot but also to be able to nail it to the rest of the leg.
Comencé con los pies, es lo más importante para este tipo de figuritas.
Los zapatos del personaje son de tela, así que son de una forma triangular y alargada como cualquier zapato.
Usé un alambre en forma de L para que este sirviera de soporte no solo para el pie sino también para poder clavarlo en el resto de la pierna.
For the calf I used a light yellow color, just a small piece because it is not very big. I also used orange plasticine for the thighs and waist. They are thicker because the pants are a bit baggy.
Para la pantorrilla usé un color amarillo claro, solo un trocito pues no es muy grande. De igual manera usé plastilina naranja para los muslos y la cintura. Son más gruesas pues el pantalón es un poco bombacho.
There I joined all the pieces together using wire and a little glue. I used the glue between the wires so that they would be firmly attached to the material.
Ahí uní todas las piezas mediante alambre y un poco de pegamento. El pegamento lo usé entre los alambres para que estos se fijarán firmemente en el material.
After the legs are ready, continue with the torso.
This is a square shape, similar to a cube but more flattened and with all the edges rounded.
I made a triangle cut in the upper part, to place the neck of the character. Also in the lower part I made some slits to simulate wrinkles in the clothes.
Después de tener lista las piernas continúe con el torso.
Este es con una forma cuadrada, similar a un cubo pero más aplastado y con todos los bordes redondeados.
Le hice un corte en triángulo en la parte superior, para colocar el cuello del personaje. También en la parte inferior hice algunas hendiduras para simular arrugas en la ropa.
With the help of a wooden stick I joined the torso with the legs and placed a plasticine ribbon around the neck and diagonally to the chest, as if it were a kimono.
I also placed plasticine strips on the lower part, as pendants of the kimono itself. Then I made a slit at the waist.
Con ayuda de un palillo de madera uní el torso con las piernas y coloqué un listón de plastilina alrededor del cuello y en diagonal al pecho, vamos como si de un kimono se tratase.
También coloqué franjas de plastilina en la parte inferior, como colgantes del propio kimono. Luego hice una hendidura en la cintura.
I then used a long strip of purple plasticine to make what would be the belt, which I placed around the waist, in the slit I mentioned earlier.
Posteriormente usé una larga tira de plastilina morada para hacer lo que sería el cinturón, este lo coloqué alrededor de la cintura, en la hendidura que les mencioné anteriormente.
The last part of the body was to make the arms, which are chubby, as if they were baby arms.
Lo último del cuerpo fue hacer los brazos, los cuales son gorditos, como si fuesen bracitos de bebé.
These I attached to the rest of the body with some small pieces of wire and glue. I used strips of brown and light yellow plasticine to cover the arm joints.
Estos los fijé en el resto del cuerpo con unos trocitos de alambre y pegamento. Usé tiras de plastilina marrón y amarillo claro para cubrir las uniones del brazo.
For the head I used light skin colored plasticine, I made it with the characteristic shape of the Chibi style characters.
Para la cabeza usé plastilina de color piel clara, la hice con la forma característica de los personajes estilo Chibi.
Krilin's features are simple, so I just made thin lines of black plasticine and began to make, as if it were a pencil, the character's mouth, eye and eyebrows. I also placed the six little dots on his forehead.
Las facciones de Krilin son sencillas, así que solo hice líneas delgadas de plastilina negra y comencé a hacer, como si de un lápiz se tratase, la boca, ojo y cejas del personaje. También le coloqué los seis puntitos que tiene en la frente.
Finally I glued the head to the body with a wooden stick and glue. This way the figure was finished.

Finalmente pegué la cabeza al cuerpo con un palillo de madera y pegamento. De esta manera la figura quedó terminada.
