You really made it to produce a sense of pity on me over this space traveler. I was particularly touched by these lines that, from my standpoint, summed up this story:

"On his homeland, his life would have lasted a few years. In his new land, he could grow old, but without companionship, without days and nights, without the simple things that colored the moments."

I think millions of people around the world feel the same without even leaving Earth but just their homes.
