Hoy traigo un proyecto el cual quede encantada con el resultado, es este bello shorts juvenil que elabore en color negro, el cual le da un toque muy elegante. Les dejaré el molde para talla M y un paso a paso detallado por si quieren elaborarlo.

Today I bring a project which I was delighted with the result, it is this beautiful youth short that I made in black color, which gives a very elegant touch. I will leave you the mold for size M and a detailed step by step if you want to make it.
- 1 metro de tela.
- 1 metro de elástico de 5 cm de ancho.
- Alfileres.
- Cinta métrica.
- Tijeras.
- Moldes o patrones.
- 1 meter of fabric.
- 1 meter of elastic 5 cm wide.
- Pins.
- Tape measure.
- Scissors.
- Molds or patterns.
Lo primero que vamos a hacer es elaborar los moldes o patrones.
The first thing we are going to do is to make the molds or patterns.
Cuando tengamos los moldes listos, vamos a tomar la tela y la colocaremos en una superficie plana, la vamos a doblar a la mitad con el derecho de tela hacia adentro y colocamos los moldes delantero, trasero y pretina arriba de ella.
When we have the molds ready, we will take the fabric and place it on a flat surface, fold it in half with the right side of the fabric facing inwards and place the front, back and waistband molds on top of it.
Le colocamos alfileres y recortamos al ras o borde del molde.
Luego hacemos lo mismo con la pieza del bolsillo.
We place pins and cut to the edge of the mold.
Then we do the same with the pocket piece.
Para hacer el cinturón vamos a recortar un rectángulo de 10 cm de ancho por 1,50 cm de largo y también vamos a recortar los cuatro pasadores que deben de medir 10 x 8 cm.
To make the belt, we will cut out a rectangle 10 cm wide by 1.50 cm long and we will also cut out the four pins that should measure 10x8 cm.
Vamos a tomar las dos piezas delanteras y vamos a colocar arriba de ella las piezas de bolsillos con el derecho de tela hacia adentro y vamos a pasar costura por la diagonal.
We are going to take the two front pieces and we are going to place the pocket pieces on top of it with the fabric right side facing in and we are going to stitch along the diagonal.
Luego pasamos el bolsillo hacia el otro lado y cosemos de nuevo.
Then we turn the pocket to the other side and sew again.
Doblamos el bolsillo por la mitad y le pasamos costura en la parte superior y la parte inferior del bolsillo (donde se muestra en los alfileres).
Fold the pocket in half and stitch at the top and bottom of the pocket (where shown on the pins).
Nos van a quedar estas dos piezas, vamos a colocar una arriba de la otra y cosemos por el tiro.
We are going to have these two pieces, we are going to place one on top of the other and sew along the seam allowance.
Luego tomamos las dos piezas traseras y las vamos a unir ambas por la parte del tiro.
Then we take the two back pieces and we are going to join both of them together at the draft side.
Colocamos la pieza delantera arriba de la pieza trasera dejando el derecho de tela hacia adentro y vamos a pasar costura por los laterales, y luego vamos a coser el tiro delantero al tiro trasero, vamos a empezar por la entrepierna.
We place the front piece on top of the back piece, leaving the fabric right side in and we will sew through the sides, and then we will sew the front seam to the back seam, starting at the crotch.
Vamos a tomar los cuatro pasadores y los vamos a doblar a la mitad para pasar costura a un lado. (Por el revés). Y luego volteamos las piezas.
We are going to take the four pins and fold them in half to pass the seam on one side (inside out). And then we flip the pieces over.
Vamos a medir desde el bolsillo por la parte delantera cinco centímetros para colocar los pasadores a cada lado. Pasamos costura.
We are going to measure from the pocket on the front side five centimeters to place the pins on each side. We sew the seam.
Por la parte trasera vamos a medir ocho centímetros de ambos laterales hacia adentro, colocamos los pasadores y cosemos.
On the back we will measure eight centimeters from both sides inwards, place the pins and sew.
Ahora vamos a hacer la cintura, así que tomamos la pretina doblada a la mitad y la doblamos de nuevo. La abrimos dejando el doblez y medimos el elástico de extremo a extremo y sumándole dos centímetros.
Abrimos de nuevo la tela, se dobla a la mitad y se coloca el elástico en la parte de arriba.
Now we are going to make the waistband, so we take the waistband folded in half and fold it again. We open it leaving the fold and measure the elastic from end to end and add two centimeters.
We open the fabric again, fold it in half and place the elastic on the top.
Luego cosemos a un lado (donde se ve el alfiler).
Then we sew on one side (where you can see the pin).
Luego le damos vuelta y cosemos por todo el costado de manera que el elástico quede dentro de la tela.
Then we turn it inside out and sew all the way around so that the elastic is inside the fabric.
Vamos a unirla a lo que llevamos de shorts. Primero vamos a fijarla por todo el borde con alfileres para que nos quede bien centrada. Cosemos por todo alrededor estirando la pretina. Doblamos un poco los pasadores y los unimos a la pretina.
We are going to attach it to the shorts. First we are going to fix it all around the edge with pins so that it is well centered. We sew all around stretching the waistband. We bend the pins a little and attach them to the waistband.
También le pasamos costura al dobladillo de cada pierna de 1 o 2 cm.
We also stitch the hem of each leg by 1 or 2 cm.
Por ultimo vamos a hacer el cinturón, tomamos la pieza y la doblamos por la mitad dejando el derecho hacia adentro y pasamos costura por todo el contorno
Finally we are going to make the belt, we take the piece and fold it in half leaving the right side facing inwards and sew all around the contour.
Luego le damos vuelta y cosemos los laterales hacia adentro.
Then we turn it over and sew the sides inward.
Pasamos el cinturón por la pretina del shorts y estará listo. Este es un detalle que le da un acabado muy bonito al shorts y yo adicionalmente le coloque una cadena dorada fina que resalta muy bien con el color negro de la tela. También quería decirles que pueden elaborar este short con diferentes tipos de telas, bien sea elásticas o rígidas incluyendo el jean o drill.
We pass the belt through the waistband of the shorts and it is ready. This is a detail that gives a very nice finish to the shorts and I additionally put a fine gold chain that stands out very well with the black color of the fabric. I also wanted to tell you that you can make this short with different types of fabrics, either elastic or rigid, including jean or drill.
