Hola a todos queridos amigos de Hive, feliz inicio de semana.
Cómo les he dicho antes mi época favorita del año sin duda es Navidad, es una época muy hermosa que me recuerda mi niñez y los buenos momentos con mi hermosa familia.
Aún faltan unos meses para diciembre y si, debo decir que me adelanté un poco y la razón de esto es porque este año quiero decorar mi casa lo más navideño posible jeje.
Me coloque a buscar entre telas que había guardado y me conseguí con un trabajo que nunca pude elaborar, hace un tiempo atrás compre aproximadamente unos dos metros de tela para hacer un mantel para la mesa del comedor, pero lo que hice a la final fue guardar la tela y dejarlo para después.
Así que me coloque manos a la obra y comencé con este fácil proyecto.

As I have told you before my favorite time of the year without a doubt is Christmas, it is a very beautiful time that reminds me of my childhood and the good times with my beautiful family.
December is still a few months away and yes, I must say that I'm a little early because this year I want to decorate my house as christmassy as possible hehe.
I started looking through fabrics that I had saved and I got a job that I could never elaborate, some time ago I bought about two meters of fabric to make a tablecloth for the dining table, but what I did in the end was to save the fabric and leave it for later.
So I got down to work and started with this easy project.
Tomé de referencia para saber exactamente la medida, un mantel viejo que ya pedía cambio jajajaja allí el largo que me dio fue de 2.25 metros de longitud. (Mesa ovalada 6 puestos).
La tela que utilicé es especial para hacer manteles así que ya traía de ancho la medida estándar.
Hice un dobladillo de un centímetro por todo el contorno y luego pase costura recta con mi máquina de coser casera.
I took as a reference to know exactly the measure, an old tablecloth that was already asking for a change hahahaha there the length I got was 2.25 meters long (oval table 6 seats).
The fabric I used is special for making tablecloths so it already had the standard width.
I made a hem of one centimeter all the way around and then I sewed straight with my homemade sewing machine.
Luego para que no quedará tan simple le hice un camino o centro de mesa con una tela estampada que conseguí.
Recorte un rectángulo de 60 por 40 centímetros y pase costura recta a un dobladillo por todo el contorno como hice con el mantel.
Then, to make it not so simple, I made a table runner or centerpiece with a printed fabric that I got.
Cut out a rectangle of 60 by 40 centimeters and sew a straight seam to a hem all the way around as I did with the tablecloth.
Luego en la parte superior e inferior le coloque un encaje en forma de ondas de color dorado, lo que hizo que todo combinara muy bien.
Then on the top and bottom I placed a lace in the form of waves of gold color, which made everything combined very well.

Cómo ven fue un trabajo sencillo con un gran cambio del antes y del después.
Me alegra mucho haber conseguido está tela de nuevo y poder realizar este trabajo que se veía mucho más difícil en mi mente que lo que realmente era y lo mejor de todo es que me animó a seguir realizando más proyectos para esta navidad y aún más con el curso que estoy realizando.

As you can see it was a simple job with a great change from before and after.
I am very happy to have gotten this fabric again and to be able to do this work that looked much more difficult in my mind than it really was and best of all is that it encouraged me to continue doing more projects for this Christmas and even more with the course I'm doing.
