In my opinion it's less complicated than people make it, in that household chores should be a shared responsibility in the home, and who does what is not the same for everyone, and there may be things that both sexes do, and some things that are only done by one sex.

A life of living unmarried puts it into perspective from a man's perspective. (undoubtedly a woman's as well.) I don't mind doing dishes, but I certainly wouldn't mind a little help with breaking up chores like this to share with someone else. I would still do dishes but not as much, same for laundry, because I would have help with these things instead of having to do everything by myself.

Things like mechanic work... well that's an area where I might not want help from a woman, but I might.. it just depends on her willingness and mechanical aptitude really. I'd also be ok with not helping with a crochet project or something if my woman doesn't want that..

Some things are facts when it comes to roles and these facts have been skewed because of preferential feelings. Like how men are (on a high average..) stronger physically than women and more adept at heavy lifting, and women are more adept at things like nursing and caring for toddlers. These are facts that society has come to manipulate because of feelings, emotions, and opinions. Can a woman power lift? Sure... will the worlds heaviest power lifter be a woman? Not likely. So really it should not be frowned upon if a man is tasked with fixing the car while the woman does laundry. This is balance, and that's what it's all about..

Balance, and a single population arguing about the roles won't get the roles filled, it will only make more work for all of us because we have to do everything by ourselves while arguing over the details of who should do what.

If my opinion doesn't seem balanced, it's probably why I'm perpetually single 😂
