The four flowering clones are nine days into flowering.
I started them 8/18/2023.
The plants will now start rapidly transforming into their flowering state.
This is the stage when things start getting exciting.
I've never worked with scrog (screen of green) netting before and just recently bought these.
I decided to get four 4X4 and stitch them up in the center with my 3D printed net clips.
I think this was a wise choice to get two layers of netting, because this is a pretty common practice to have a lower and upper support system.
I've just been weaving the growth in and out of spots in the netting as it grows.
I don't know if I'm doing it the best way, but this is how we learn, and I'm always open to critiquing!
In this gif I made, we can see the spacing in the nets, as well as the spacing from the lights.
Right now I have everything dialed in. 2.5 feet distancing with 600 watt lights, outputting 44k LUX currently. I'll be moving that to 1 ft distance later on and that will double the LUX intensity.
I opt for higher lights, more power. This is more expensive in electricity than closer lights with less power, but I feel it just does a better job for the plants. They seem to enjoy the high power from greater distance, and this also allows me to control the heat better because I use an open tent system with air conditioning and fluctuate temps throughout the day, as well as fluctuate LUX throughout the day to mimic/emulate real life. The logic is that plants are not in full sun every hour of the day, and temps are not consistent every hour of the day.
I decided to add some flair (3D printed plant labels) to my pots, just because I can :D

In these photographs above, we can see white fuzzy things shooting out from the leaf nodes. These are the pistils, which are a female trait. This is a sign of the transformation happening, and it's usually pretty rapid from this point forward.
In the kitchen (vegetation) tent I have a beautiful Big Mack Superstar clone that is growing some fat foliage. The difference in pH is shining through this plant.
I have a couple of aloes back there that look a little stressed, but not terribly. They probably just need some water and/or a little bit of nutrients. Also some green onions on the floor that I should probably use soon.
There's a seedling under that 2 liter bottle humidity dome.
This is the Crystal Candy auto-flower cannabis plant. She's been taking slow, but looks healthy. Hopefully she'll go into a rapid growth real soon. Currently she's two weeks in the soil and was pre-germinated with the paper-towel method.
