I have to admit that I'm not a big fan of rainy weather. I prefer going for a walk when the weather is pleasant, and heavy rain usually means staying indoors until it passes. However, there is one thing about rain that I truly enjoy, and that is how the garden looks immediately afterward.

We had quite a lot of rain today, so I knew there would be plenty of droplets left on the flowers and leaves. As soon as the rain stopped, I headed to the garden with my camera. I didn't want to miss the opportunity while everything was still fresh and wet.

What caught my attention were the tiny droplets resting on the flower buds and the rounded parts of the plants. Some were scattered across the surfaces, while others gathered at the edges, ready to fall at any moment. These little details may not seem very special when we walk past them, but they become much more interesting when photographed up close.

Of course, I captured everything in black and white. The bright flower buds against the darker leaves gave me the contrast I wanted, while the droplets added a beautiful shine and texture to the photos. Even the aging parts of the plants became interesting subjects.

I guess this is another reminder that things we don't particularly enjoy can sometimes leave something beautiful behind. I may still not like getting caught in the rain, but I will always appreciate what it does to the garden.

I'm glad I went out right after the rain and managed to capture these moments before the droplets disappeared.

I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Have a good day ahead!
