I walked around the Bugis area. There are pedestrian crossings with views of the most beautiful buildings around this area. The experience is quite enjoyable especially when the direction of my walk is not in the plan.

What's even more interesting about this experience is that I can see the interesting buildings in this area. I like this kind of activity of being surprised by what I will discover during this walk.

Some of the buildings that are familiar to me are the Sultan Mosque, and the Concourse building. The Sultan Mosque is the one that has a golden dome while the Concourse building is a modern design office tower. It's amazing to see contrasting styles of architecture in this area.

”One can say that the city itself is the collective memory of its people, and like memory it is associated with objects and places. The city is the locus of the collective memory.”
