A Street Parade in color splash effect

I do have a simple rule in a color splash edit that I always bear in mind. Make one of the elements as the subject. That's the simplest and most effective approach when doing this editing style. The only question is that... which one?

For my preference, I'm usually geared towards the element that has the most impact within the frame. It could be based on:

• color
• position
• clarity
• appeal

For this image, the subject presented here has embodied the pointers that I mentioned above. So, in my humble opinion; I feel that I made a good choice on this one.
