Today is all about flowers, and I’m happy to share this mini collection of photos with you. Over the many months that I’ve been doing my daily routine of visiting the garden, flowers have become one of my favorite subjects to photograph. Whenever I see a nice plant with blooming flowers along the way, I usually stop for a while and take a photo of it.
For today, I managed to get one fresh photo of a flower, and then I decided to add some of the flower photos that I took in the past. I think it is nice to bring them together in one post because each flower has its own shape, texture, and mood. Even though they may look simple, they still have something beautiful to offer.
I really enjoy how flowers appear in black and white. Without the colors, the attention goes more into the form of the petals, the contrast between the flower and the leaves, and the tiny details that are easy to miss. Some petals look soft and clean, while others have rough edges and more texture. That is what makes them interesting for me.
This routine of walking and taking photos has also taught me to be more observant. Sometimes beauty is not something that we need to search far away for. It can be along the path that we always take, waiting for us to notice it. A simple flower blooming in the garden can already make the morning feel more peaceful.
