I was in discussion with my neighbour last night about what's the good investment opportunity right now.
He said investing in Gold is still his first choice given it's still in high demand and limited supply. I said "Well, that's truth but I'd rather to put my money into Bitcoin or Altcoin for long term investment instead of gold"
Then he said "I watched the news few days ago about the surge in bitcoin (as in the attached screenshot) , if bitcoin is of any good for investment, why we don't hear about many bitcoin millionaires despite bitcoin has going 1000% more in years?"
Good question. I replied "Tax liability maybe so for the few that have profited heavily have no reason to share, they just want to transacting quietly to avoid heavy tax, also not many may have guts to hold through all this time, from $9 to $100, $1000 and now $3400, does it make any sense? "
