The Good Old Space Shooters
Most gamers of the eighties era remember Arkanoid all to well, goal of the game was to bounce back a projectile and smash stones to pieces at the top of the screen.
It was the most popular game at time and an offshoot of Atari's Breakout of the early seventies.
And what about Space Invaders where you had to blast space monsters into smitherines as fast as possible ?
Since its release in 1978 the game became a legend in the videogame industry.
Wait a minute, what about a game that combines the two classic icons into one ?
Indeed not long ago Space Invaders vs Arkanoid came out for iOS and Android consoles.
At first glance the idea sounded terrible.
Not really, developers added some new ingredients to this mash-up which makes it exiting to play.

Mash-Up
The game is more of a mash-up, all of the game elements are still there. The diffirence is the way you play the game.
For instance the space monsters will come at you in rows like they always do in Space Invaders.
But where you had to dodge the laserbeams and projectiles, now you have to bounce them back like in Arkanoid in an effort to destroy your enemies.
