Our First Prime Minister Of Singapore, Mr Lee Kuan Yew, had left us for 5 years when he passed away on 23 March 2015.

The whole nation was sad when a great man who had made such an impact to the growth of Singapore when no one believed it would survive in the early days of independence.

Our founding father, Mr Lee, may have said certain hard words but those words are words that would wake those who needed some wisdom from the brutal facts.

Many leaders from different countries respected Mr Lee for his vision and strong leadership that had brought Singapore to become one of the best places in the world.

When different races were not united in the early days, racial harmony was one of the most important emphasis in Singapore.

When there is a need for defence, compulsory national service of young men of age 16 onwards to protect the country as well as develop their own independent through physical training as soldiers.

Singapore is still a strong nation today because of the various contributions of Mr Lee.

As a nation, many of us remember and appreciate all he had done for us.

Thank you Mr Lee for all you had done for us and we will remember you as our inspirational leader.
