Sakura Milk Latte
The order was placed. I got my receipt and moved to the counter to see the drink being made. The “tree” was planted. Within a few seconds, the pink chocolate “blossoms” appeared.
Cup of Spring
I loved the floral design of the cup.
The cashier had asked me to choose. There were regular cups and like the above, what I’d call cups of spring. Certainly, I was ready for spring so I chose a floral one. I loved the design on the top of the drink. Though this may come across as fickle, I feel I had an excess of cherry blossoms to the right of the tree. The blossoms there were a bit heavy. I wanted to make them smaller. Is this pointing to a certain level of obsessive compulsive disorder? Does anyone else feel like fixing the tree? I won’t mention that part of the trunk is broken.
Anyway, I decided not to fuss about the tree in my cup. It was beautiful and it was creatively done. I really loved it and looked at it for a while.
The Taste
While stirring it, my taste buds got very excited as they anticipated the flavor. I took the first sip…another, then several others. It somehow reminded me a bit of cherry malt, a drink I sometimes had as a child. This time, it was warm, it bloomed and it was even more refreshing.
Thank you for reading this this post. Have a great day. 😃
