Sakura specials at Tully’s. Can you find Jerry?
Coffee sign by a train station. I’ve never had Wonda coffee but from the name, it sounds wonderful.
Hi fellow hivers. How are you?
I recently had to go off my regular route to get some stuff sorted.
It was quite scenic but my phone battery was low and so I didn’t get the chance to capture some of the views. When I got to my stop however, I saw some big signs of coffee and tea. I got a quick snap of those.
Tea sign by a train station.”Nama-cha (pure tea).
Single serve, original blend (coffee) at Tully’s Cafe.
You never know who you’d meet at a coffee shop. I was just passing by but was surprised to see my favorite cartoon characters there. I really wasn’t expecting to see them so I had to get a closer look to ensure that I was seeing correctly.
I have very fond memories of watching Tom and Jerry cartoons on Saturday mornings with my dad. To this day, when we talk to each other over the phone, we crack a joke surrounding the cartoon. But all that said, I couldn’t pair the two with a coffee shop. Why were they there? From the poster, I could see Tom searching for Jerry. That wasn’t unusual but the location itself seemed a bit odd to me. I couldn’t have made a long enough stop at the time, so later on, I decided to check it out on the internet. I then realized that Tully has collaborated with the Tom and Jerry brand and offers a variety of items (merch) including mugs and cups. The collaboration still comes to me as a bit of surprise but the characters are cute and seem to add life, nostalgia and fun to the cups. I guess it’s a cool way to enjoy a beverage. Hoping Jerry is safe.
Have a wonderful weekend.
