There are many things that I have put alot of effort into over the years, and some form of fitness is one of them. I think it is important to be able to do basic everyday things.
I may not need to do feats of super human strength, or maybe run a marathon, but dang... can I just stand up off of the toilet. haha
I have always heard a phrase that talks about the woes of aging. I don't really think that aging is the issue, but I think it is more about not paying attention.
While we were on the homestead, on the road, up in Michigan I guess I didn't really notice my physical ability slipping away. I am a life long frisbee player, and there was actually a time that I thought I wasn't going to be able to run and jump like I used to.
So I started working out real hard with my family. I have noticed some great changes, and even a complete fitness reversal. The strength has really returned to my hips, knees, and ankles!
The other thing though...the noises. The grunts. The groans. I have learned many breathing techniques over the years, like where to hold your tongue or how to exhale. So now I am starting to make some funky sounds when I move.
Let's be real, it didn't JuST start, but apparently I do this alot. So I have had to actually focus on these noise so that I stop sounding like a 90 year old jogger.
All I know is that life is amazing, and fun. We may not have to do incredible things, but life requires something.
Be well
