Bitcoins are more difficult to mine, On the other hand, Dogecoin is infinitesimally small, and anyone can have thousands of Dogecoin. The community is very friendly and expressive, we run lots of fundraisers, and WE LOVE YOU ALREADY! Dogecoin has also been relatively stable over the years, which is nice. I think Dogecoin is uniquly suited for normal transactions.
