Siguiendo la simplicidad de san Agustín podemos afirmar que "a pensar se aprende pensando", por lo tanto debemos estudiar a los que han pensado, esos que han formulado preguntas e interrogantes permitiendo así nuestro desarrollo.
Following the simplicity of Saint Augustine, we can affirm that "to think is learned by thinking", therefore we must study those who have thought, those who have formulated questions and interrogations, thus allowing our development.
Con esta perspectiva llegue al libro Pensadores de la antigüedad de Antonio Almenara Martínez en el cuál pude acercarme a quienes se detuvieron a pensar y gracias a ellos nuestra racionalidad fue desarrollándose ayudando en nuestra evolución.
With this perspective I came to the book Ancient Thinkers by Antonio Almenara Martínez in which I was able to approach those who stopped to think and thanks to them our rationality was developing helping in our evolution.
El libro inicia presentando los orígenes, los primeros pasos del pensamiento racional, para ello el autor nos pone en contexto sobre el nacimiento de las diversas religiones y cómo ellas son evidencia de la lucha del hombre por entenderse y entender su realidad circundante.

Una pregunta que para muchos mantiene vigencia y que en los siguientes capítulos del libro van tomando una particular dimensión, en virtud de ayudarnos a formarnos una postura propia, razonando con las biografías de otros pensadores, en lo particular lo relativo a Boecio considero que merece una revisión más profunda y sosegada, por el hecho que su influencia tiene aún mucha vigencia, además que con él el libro cierra lo referente a la antiguedad.
A question that for many remains valid and that in the following chapters of the book will take a particular dimension, by virtue of helping us to form our own position, reasoning with the biographies of other thinkers, in particular regarding Boethius I consider that it deserves a deeper and calmer review, due to the fact that his influence is still very valid, besides the fact that with him the book closes the book on antiquity.
Es un libro ligero, a pesar de abordar teoría filosófica, ameno porque resume la biografías de muchos pensadores, además de muy ilustrativo porque siempre contextualiza el tema que aborda, permitiendo que podamos asimilar la mayor cantidad posible de información.
It is a light book, in spite of dealing with philosophical theory, entertaining because it summarizes the biographies of many thinkers, as well as very illustrative because it always contextualizes the subject it deals with, allowing us to assimilate as much information as possible.
