Friends. I have not posted for a few days since the Steemit platform isn't as appealing to us now as it has been in the past.
But, if this is all we get for now. We will all have to adjust accordingly. I understand that in order for changes to be made that we all want and need. Some inconveniences will have to be accepted and made as comfortable for each of us as we can make it. Just a little bump in the road for Steemit as we all move forward in time to the prize.
So, with that thinking in mind. I will show a little of some of the walks I have recently made in our wonderful neighbor community.
Such as the "Banyan" tree photo above.
And this is the foliage of the tree/s.
I don't know what this is. It seems to be a citrus tree of some sort. Maybe it is a "Pomelo?"
The "greenery" never leaves this part of Florida. The grass can turn brown in places. But many of the trees and shrubs continue to be green. I recently talked with a lady from "France" that came over for a visit to a friend's place here. She wants to live here.
People from all over the world come here. And it is only going to get more attractive as Clif's "mini ice age" approaches. Who wants to see snow and ice all time for many months?
If you like dogs. Florida is the place to be. You will see them everywhere. They are a part of the family in many households here.
I don't know what the name of these birds are. They have a curve at the end of their beaks for digging in the ground. They are always busy. Since none of the older people here bother them or are a threat.
They will allow you to get close to them.
Since this house has been built up to see the water. I would think they can see the Gulf of Mexico.
I know that my neighbor had a viewing level added to his house to see the water. It is nice too.
Here, I am walking along the canal that is not far from where we live. The photo is showing a sailboat moving along toward the bridge.
This is a common sight that you will see as you walk or ride on the trail. This canal is used to go back and forth to the Gulf waters. You can see the Venice Airport in the background that was used by the the Army years ago.
I like the Pontoon boats. I like the flat surface and the stability of them Plus, it is comfortable for the people to have some extra room to move around. I have never owned one though.
I see the sailboat has reached the bridge. So up goes the drawbridge portion of it to let the boat pass through. Some of the little white birds are busy in the photo as they always are. They do fly. But not too much. They don't have time to fly. Ha
I could see some pelicans and an egret sitting on the bridge side rails. They are resting.
They will be fishing later. The pelicans can catch fish in a dive. They rarely miss.
As I go under the bridge and up the trail a short distance. I see this. Signs are a part of our lives everywhere we go. It is good to be able to read.
I will end this walk and post it for you to see if you can. I don't know when our Steemit team will get our platform back to normal. I will see what response I get from this.
If it is enough to justify more postings. I will be adding more of my neighborhood walks.
We don't want to forget our song selection though. What shall it be for us?

That would be an unusual day and time for sure.
We cannot go today without remembering Steemit.
Each day Steemit is always here for us. 24/7 is the time of measurement. I like that.
