Let me put this in terms that we all can understand. I am not the ultimate poster. I don't have any more insight than you have nor am I smarter. And I don't have all the answers.
But, I do know this. If I wait on you to do the work that should be done by me on Steemit. Then I have failed you and Steemit. It is the working together to achieve the common goal that is so important for all of us now. Steemit is still very much in it's infancy. Some may question that thinking and that is OK. But, when we look back, say five years from now. We will likely be saying to ourselves. "If only I knew then."
That is why I put up this post. It is what I have been a part of in my journey of life.
Going to the Punta Gorda Airport is a part of it.
The original arrival time of Katie to the airport was around 6:30 pm. So we planned our day accordingly to go see her and bring her back here to our house.
That was delayed and delayed until it was finally after midnight when the plane finally arrived.
So, Pat and I had so much time that as we went to the airport, which is about 40 miles away.
We stopped at a McDonald. Oh, I know. We all get tired of hearing people saying "the biggest and the best." But, this time is was true. It was the best McDonald I had ever been at. It was completely new and was a delight to be there. So beautifully laid out. And Pat likes their coffee.
But, that is it. She doesn't go to McDonald's place. Sorry. She says she doesn't like their food.
While we were there. A motorcycle group came in to rest and enjoy talking about their ride. They were a good group of people.
As we were leaving. This is a little of what we saw.
No need to identify the cycles by name. While many have one model that they prefer. I let each one decide for themselves what they like. I like to look at all of them.
The last one I rode was an eleven hundred Yamaha. I liked it. How I am here writing this after riding that cycle is beyond my thinking? I must have something that I need to do. I have rode it while drinking at 120 miles an hour.
Amazing. The times that I came close to being wiped out are numerous. But, I never had one spill or wreck. No, I don't know why.
Before we leave. One more look at this one.
This is what I was looking for when we got to the airport. The arrival part of the airport terminal.
But, you might know me. I don't like to stay in one place too long. The time moves so slowly for me just sitting doing nothing. So I move around and look to see what I can find.
Here is one place of interest. Especially to anyone wanting to fly out of the airport.
Remember. This is just before midnight by an hour or more. I was restless. I don't like being trapped. Ha Anyone seeing me might think to themselves. "Who is the goofy guy walking all around taking photos?"
I like to be seeing, or learning, or talking with someone. Just sitting watching the clock is very hard on me. So slow............
So I keep walking. The place is nearly deserted.
Inside on some of the screens. We could watch the plane's progress. Some had the flight on their phones. I don't know which link they were using.
Many paintings were on the walls. I will show two of them here.
Nothing of importance. Just interesting. Especially as we wait.
They are very pretty. There were many others.
It is time to focus once again on the arriving plane. Here is the look that I could see. It has arrived.
And that is it. She arrived safely into the arms of her grandmother that you saw in the previous post.
Take another look at her as she moves along quickly to her grandmother. That is so nice to see.
Katie is not my "blood granddaughter." But I still love her as though she were.
I have a granddaughter of one of my son's earlier marriages. She is so nice.
But, she has been taught and will likely follow the very strict "Christian" beliefs of her mother.
I don't disagree with that. But, in our world today. That leaves very few opportunities for advancement and understanding that those who are set free can know and enjoy.
Piety has its place for some. That is OK. But, I try to be open minded and willing to learn.
But, each one will follow along the pathway of life that appeals to them.
It is past time to close this post. But let me get back to what appeals to me.
And that is love songs. So, what will I choose for us?
Oh, this one is very lovely. See if you like it. "Fly to your heart."
That means so much to me. Especially now.......................................

I believe it is lighthearted enough for us.
All of this that we share is because of Steemit.
I do not need to say more. Steemit is waiting even now. Here is my part.
Add your part as well. In whatever capacity that you add to Steemit. It is all good.
Thank you
