Friends. With this post and work. It continues for you my walk around Shamrock Park. It is so nice to have a place near us that we can go to and enjoy. I hope you have a place that you really like to spend some of your time doing what you enjoy.
Whether is be your homestead or a city park for city dwellers. That will be the place where time is forgotten for us.
The boat you see above is on the canal next to the park. The boat gets our attention.

But, back to our walk. On the path that circles around the park. This shows a shelter of sorts from the sun and possible rain.
Florida is said to be "The Sunshine State." Which is true. But, I have also experienced a lot of rain at times.
So the roof over our heads can be a comfort for us when needed.

I see the pathway pavement needs some repair. It may have been broken with the heavy equipment being used in the removal of invasive trees and plants. And the park management will. They do very well for us. I thank them for that.

As we approach the canal side of the park. You can see another sitting bench for our comfort. It is a good place for a picnic or just for a place to sit down and enjoy watching the canal for whatever comes along.

While we are seated. This is a little of what we can see. Up and down the canal.

I don't see any hickory trees or walnut trees here. Ha

We look up the bicycle and walking trail along side the canal and park. It is so lovely and looks to be a little bit of Heaven on earth.

One last look at the canal before we have to go. I will continue this "walkwithme" tomorrow.

The "Christmas Boat Parade" will be on this canal before too long. I want to show that to you if I don't miss it.

Thank you for spending your time to "walkwithme" around our lovely park. The growth in population in our area has nearly doubled. Or so it seems anyway. We surely need a place like this to remind us of our planet earth.
Back to nature is so compelling to our souls. For me it is. So I spend time here nearly every week.

We never forget Steemit. I am so glad that men and women have freely given of their time and talent for all of us.

All that I have shown to you over the past few months is because they were willing to give.
I hope we all are driven to continue with our part whenever we can. That is what I want to do.

And I appreciate your help and support for Steemit and myself.
We will never rest until the day and time of Steemit greatness.

Francis
