Hola amigos, pintura fresca. Inspirado un poco en el cuento "El almohadón de plumas", del escritor uruguayo, Horacio Quiroga, esta pintura la he titulado: "Insecto hematófago". Esta obra es de carácter expresionista. Retrata la cabeza en detalle de un insecto sugerido, en una atmósfera de pigmentos lúgubres y fantasiosos. Luego de un paréntesis, de cavilaciones y diálogo con el lienzo fui madurando el concepto: la figura del insecto emergía de la obscuridad y los lumínicos colores. El resultado es esta enigmática pintura.
Hey folks, fresh paint. Inspired a little in the story "The feather pillow", by the Uruguayan writer, Horacio Quiroga, I have titled this painting: "Hematophagous insect". This work is expressionist in nature. It portrays the detailed head of a suggested insect, in an atmosphere of lugubrious and fanciful pigments. After a parenthesis, reflections and dialogue with the canvas, I matured the concept: the figure of the insect emerged from the darkness and the luminous colors. The result is this enigmatic painting.
