Postcards: San Antonio Castle
Saludos estimados amigos apasionados por la fotografía. Continúo con material fotográfico referente a retratos de Cumaná histórica; pertenecientes al mes de agosto. Específicamente, se trata de una colección de imágenes alusivas a segmentos del Castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia y sus alrededores. También les presento una toma final de la Iglesia Santa Inés, con destellos del arbusto trepador ornamental, conocido científicamente como Bougainvillea y popularmente en este entorno como trinitaria.
Greetings to all my fellow photography enthusiasts. I am continuing to share photographic material—captured in August—featuring portraits of historic Cumaná. Specifically, this is a collection of images showcasing parts of the San Antonio de la Eminencia Castle and its surroundings. I also present a final shot of the Santa Inés Church, featuring glimpses of the ornamental climbing shrub known scientifically as *Bougainvillea*—and popularly in this region as *trinitaria*.
Por mi experiencia puedo decir que desde la altura de este antiguo fuerte militar o muralla de piedra, se percibe una paradójica calma, el paisaje horizontal es relajante. Los pensamientos viajan con las corrientes aéreas del mar entre las nubes.
From my experience, I can say that from the heights of this ancient military fort or stone wall, one perceives a paradoxical calm; the horizontal landscape is soothing. Thoughts drift amidst the clouds, carried by the sea breezes.
