The last few days there is some snow in Greece and everyone is talking about it. I know we are in the middle of the winter and it shouldn't be something extraordinary but this is Greece, we get overexcited easily! Plus that we build our cites taking for granted that the weather will always be calm and the sun will always shine :)

Well surprise! Sometimes it rains and some times it is snowing. And every time it is like a cataclysm is beginning and everyone is looking for Noah's ark to save them. Of course it isn't funny when you are in the mercy of nature's ferocity and contractor's fault and many hundredths people in Athens had a very hard and dangerous night. But I am listening about that all day long and I wanted to occupy myself with something different, like Summer :)

This fabulous scenery is called Kavourotrypes, meaning in Greek crab-holes. I am not sure why, but I'll go with the most obvious explanation that there are (or used to be) a lot of crabs at the holes of the many rocks on the coast.

Myself, I didn't see any crabs but I saw everything else. The pine trees growing till the edge of the water, the sea resembling to a huge and gorgeous swimming pool and the rocks on the coast like sculptures of the greatest artist!

I have to warn you though. If you go there in August, you'll have a hard time to find a spot to sit, let alone to lie down on the beach. But then again this applies to most of the beautiful seaside places in Greece (fortunately not all of them, we still have a few hidden gems).

I don't know about you but I am feeling better already. What if I live in a country with myriads of problems and a totally incompetent administration. It is totally beautiful and summer is on its way :)
