Hallo zusammen. Heute zeige ich euch noch den ersten Teil unseres Washington Besuches. Alls wir im Mai in Virginia waren haben wir von da aus eine kleine Reise mit dem Zug nach Washington unternommen. Dabei war es schon gar nicht so leicht zwei Tickets zu bekommen. Da die Züge laut Internet oft schon voll waren. Ich konnte mir das kaum vorstellen da es hier in Deutschland ja immer möglich ist ein Ticket zu bekommen nur ohne Sitzplatz. Dies ist dort nicht der Fall es werden nur Sitzplätze verkauft. Beim einsteigen war auch interessant gewesen das der Schaffner nur eine Tür des Zuges aufgemacht hat warum das ist so weiß ich nicht. Hatte aber das Gefühl es ging geordneter zu als bei uns in Deutschland wenn alle einsteigen wollen obwohl noch nicht alle ausgestiegen sind.
Hello, everyone. Today I'll show you the first part of our Washington visit. When we were in Virginia in May we took a little trip by train to Washington. It wasn't that easy to get two tickets. Since the trains were often already full according to the Internet. I could hardly imagine that here in Germany it is always possible to get a ticket just without a seat. This is not the case there, only seats are sold. When boarding it was also interesting that the conductor only opened one door of the train, I don't know why that is. But I had the feeling that things were more orderly than in Germany when everyone wants to get on, although not everyone has got off yet

Vom Bahnhof aus sind wir zum Hotel gelaufen. Am Abend gab es dann noch Burger und eine Stadtrundfahrt bei Nacht. Die Bilder von der Stadt gibt es dann im zweiten Teil. Bleibt alle gesund und habt noch ein gutes restliches Jahr.
We walked to the hotel from the train station. In the evening there were burgers and a city tour at night. The pictures of the city are then in the second part. Everyone stay healthy and have a good rest of the year.
