Owning a car is genuinely an endless pit of money where your bank account just goes to die.
I swear, you finally get a handle on your bills and then the insurance premium hits you like a personal insult, costing an absolute joke of an amount just for the privilege of parking it on the street.
And it is always something.
You are just driving, minding your own business and boom, a random light flashes on the dash or a tire blows out of nowhere, costing you eight hundred dollars on a Tuesday.
But honestly, the moment you want to escape everything, throw your music on and just drive wherever you want without waiting for a delayed train or dealing with people, you realise that absolute freedom is worth every single painful cent.
Sigh.
Dane.
