(Here is the next photo from our hike to the Wendelsteinhaus the weekend before last. Our destination was finally in sight, giving our motivation to reach it a little boost.)

Hi Actifitters,

since I couldn't sit while waiting for my doctor's appointment on Monday due to the pain, I stood for the entire two hours. Because I have an injury on my left side, I naturally shifted my weight onto my right leg. Then there is the limping, which also places the load primarily on the right leg. The result of this compensatory posture is that I currently have mild pain in my right buttock and the back of my thigh. Fortunately, I can walk almost without a limp again now, so hopefully these issues will soon disappear.

Since today is my first day back at work and some tasks have piled up, I’m not yet sure if I’ll make a first attempt at an upper-body workout today.

In any case, though, I’m really looking forward to the World Cup and the opening match between Mexico and South Africa this evening.
