A walk on a rubber plantation... my training diary entry from March 24 2026

Hi Actifitters,

now that I'm no longer putting pressure on myself regarding exercise, I have a little more free time. Yesterday, I used it to explore the surrounding area a bit. I passed both an oil palm plantation and a rubber plantation. It was interesting to see how the Thai farmers work here and, in some cases, even live on their farms.

Today is my last day here in the area surrounding Udon Thani. Tomorrow morning a taxi will take me to Ubon Ratchathani. The journey should take a good 8 hours. Hopefully the taxi's air conditioning works. Otherwise, it's going to be hot with the forecast temperature of 41 degrees Celsius.
