The most locomotives stationed in Wolsztyn belong to the Ol49 series. This is the Polish construction of a passenger vehicle from 1949. These locomotives replaced the worn out Ok1 and Ol12 on secondary lines. The engine has low pressure on the axle, which makes it irreplaceable on lines with poor surface. Tender is also a Polish construction and has the designation 25D49. The disadvantage of this engine is the small diameter of the cylinders, which makes the machine has a small acceleration and is quite weak is not suitable for heavy passenger trains. Here, however, Wolsztyn is irreplaceable. In total, in the years 1951-1954, 115 machines of these machines were built in the Locomotives Factory in Chrzanów. in Wolsztyn, every day when driving passenger trains, we can see locomotives numbers: 7, 23, 59, 69. It is also the largest cluster of these machines on the Polish State Railways. Steam locomotives Ol49-60 (factory number 3171, year 1953) and Ol49-85 (factory number 3130, year 1953) were brought last year from the engine house in Choszczno and set up on the site of the open-air museum as monuments of technology.
