I have an interesting thing to mention here which came into my mind when I read the topic for today's contest which is Blessing in Disguise. This things happened with me recently in the last month and I'm surprised to see.
I already have mentioned in my previous contest post that I was deeply involved in art and craft stuff since beginning even before my actual degree. And, the thing I'm going to share is about some of the artwork.
Actually, I always prefer to use even my single minute of my life to some productive things and this is why I want to do everything which I can do with my own creativity. Its not only enhance your creativity skill but make you confident that you can make stuff at home rather than buying from market.
Resin Artwork
This is what I was talking about since beginning of this post that I deeply involved in this artwork nowadays. It is one of the artworks that people can make stuff at home and sell to people who want customised stuff as per their own choices. It feels like a stone when it gets ready. Its basically two chemicals combined together which is epoxy resin and hardener.
Why I'm investing in Resin Artwork?
I asked myself the same question many many times that why I'm investing crazily in this artwork to buy its raw material which is way more expansive than any artwork that you know. It was sort of regret that why I am investing hard-earned money on this just to fulfil my wishes. I'd rather invest in some other things that could yield something. I faced trouble buying it because a lot of money going away from my market just to buy resin raw material.
I faced lot of negative and positive thoughts that I should stop it here or why should I stop here? Because I liked to do such things, I like to create, and I wanted to be creative then why can't I invest on myself to please please my inner soul.
A lot of such thoughts came into my mind but I didn't stop buying. I invested in every possible stuff that helped to create unique things with resin and hardener. I kept creating art. I took start from making keychains, comb, pen, and bookmark. At the end, I had enough samples to show people that this is what I created with my hands.
Here are few samples that I made for my cousins to gift them.
This is another keychain I made for my hubby's cousin who is very sweet.
And this one I made it for my hubby.
How this Artwork turns into Blessing?
I posted the stuff I made on my WhatsApp status where many of people have seen it and one of my hubby's aunt approached me to appreciate my work. She got impressed that I can make these type of things too despite cooking and developing. She wanted me to make few samples and I will showcase to Expo which is coming later this month in Lahore city of Pakistan.
If people loved this art then they will buy so you have to calculate the actual price of all the things that you made. I calculated the prices and told her then she ordered me for keychains and rings. I was surprised to see that I can even sell this artwork to people? I even feeling regret spending a lot of money on this artwork for no reason. I never realised that this can turned into sort of blessing to me. Alhamdulliah I am blessed. 馃ス
That aldy was the first person who ordered few steps for her daughter and her colleagues. I'm sure there will be more. Actually she is an Art supervisor in governance institute that's why she wanted me to make stuff for her so she can put on display in her institute to sell.
Now I will ready few samples for her to showcase in Expo and in the institute and I would love to see the progress. Stay tuned for the further achievement posts from my side. ;)
