You can't even imagin how excited I am to write this post. I've been waiting for this moment for so long.
Ever since I remember myself, I'm wearing galsses. I was 2 years old when I had to first put them on.
My number got bigger due years until it stopped at 6 plus in right eye and 6.5 plus in left eye, with cylinder.
Those of you who can't understand what it means - I was basically blind without my glasses.
A few years ago I tried to put contact lenses but they really disturbed me, so I stopped.
This whole thing made me feel really bad - I couldn't wear sun glasses, could bearly see in the shower, because of the size the glasses made my eye look really really big and it made me feel unconfident with myself, and a lot of other things that made me get to a dicision - I want to get a laser eye surgery.
So about a month ago I went to the doctor, see If I fit to this process, due the fact there's a lot of people who can't do it. I was really scared he's going to say I can't because of the big size and cylinder, but then I realized it has no connection. The thing you need to worry about is the shape of your eye, and he told me I can do the Instralasik surgery.
Intralasik is the most advanced, precise, and safe technology in the world for refractive laser eye surgery. The surgery is performed under local anesthesia with the aid of eye drops, and is not painful.
The surgery consists of two phases:
1. Opening a treatment flap in the cornea with a precise, computerized laser beam produced by a state-of-the-art laser instrument rather than with a surgical scalpel.
2. Modifying the cornea with the aid of an excimer laser, which redesigns the convex of the cornea and adapts it to the needs of the patient. This operation assures optimal results for the patient.

I was taking my time to think if I really want to do it, because I was really scared, but as I look back - I'm so glad I did.
(last picture with glasses, on my way to the train)
The surgery took place in Tel Aviv, in Azrieli tower, which is a really high building. I had to get up to 30 floor for that surgery! That was scary itself, but the view was pretty amazing -
The surgery itself took about 8 mintues, which was really surprising. It was so scary, at some point I couldn't see at all and the doctor told me I shouldn't worry and that it's fine, but it was really really scary.
That's basically it, now I can see almsot perfectly, which is pretty awsome that after one day I already recovered.
Today I went to my doctor review in haifa, he said everything is fine and I couldn't ignore this amazing Haifa's view -
I'm here for your questions, I waited soo long to tell you about it :) ♥
