I wanted to give a little update on the broccoli growing. As you might recall from my previous posts lately, I planted broccoli seedlings fairly late according to the planting calendar.

I've taken some photos the last couple of weeks for the two beds of broccoli that I have going.

It definitely looks like overall we have substantial growth between just these two photos being taken. One plant, the first one on the left side in box #3 looks unhealthy and I'll probably pull it out as to not cause disease.
I've also noticed that I've got several volunteer potatoes coming up in those beds. I'll probably just let hem be, as I might get some free potatoes out of it.
Overall, good growth. It remains to be seen if we have enough time to get an actual harvest from these plants, but given the growth in this week, I'm cautiously optimistic.
