In November this Year I visited the Nature park "Blockheide" in Lower Austria for some hiking and photography together with Dieter a friend of mine. It is a nice place with 4 different walking routes and a lot of old culture. You can learn a lot of this place with the numerous information boards that can be found there. During Autumn, it is a nice walking route but most of the trees and plants are already preparing for winter. In spring and summer you should be able to find numerous seldom plants and insects there. So this is definitely a place where I need to take a better look to it in spring.

In Summer this place might also be a perfect place for collecting blueberries. I saw a lot of the blueberry bushes growing there, so this is a possible place where I can collect blueberries with my brother next summer. Hmm Probably we will find some places that are not that far away from Linz. My brother probably knows some good places for collecting mushrooms and blueberries. I know that last year he really found a lot of them.
