A day in the Zoo

Back in the day when i still didn't do so much wildlife photography like today i visited a Zoo from time to time to take some pictures of animals there. Together with a girlfriend and her children I visited the Zoo on one day in June of 2016 and i took several pictures of the animals I found there and also some nice portrait pictures of the children. Although back in this time I didn't have the nice 150-600mm lens but only the 55-300mm from Nikon I still got some nice results. These Zoo pictures i took this day are still one of my favorite Zoo pictures it did until now. Unlike in wildlife photography you get even closer to the animals in the Zoo and for this reason you don't need such a 150-600mm tele lens like i use in wildlife today.

Back in these day i already took several pictures and i already knew how to take pictures through the fence of the animal enclosures so you don't see anything of the fence on the picture but just the animal or the main object of the picture. I always used the full 300mm on the Crop Camera to get as close as possible and to eliminate the fence.
